She's a nice enough lady but no education at all. She worked her way up at Ameriquest/Argent to making huge sums of money and having lots and lots of power, so she's quite impressed with herself and seems to honestly believe that she is a "banker" in the old fashioned sense of the word. She's quite bright, but was also clearly someone who would only have been able to succeed at that level in an organization like Ameriquest where they didn't actually want anyone with real knowledge and education so that they could make people like her believe that they know it all. On breaks, she'll talk quite a lot about her husband who is a construction foreman and her kids who have realized that they can be like her - not get an education and still succeed.
